

JoAnne was a strong woman and the rock of the family. She knew and loved Jesus, her family and kids. She birthed one baby, but raised five. She was the party planner of the family and the church. JoAnne always hosted family dinners, Christmas, ladies luncheons and holiday celebrations. She was the ultimate hostess. She loved others unconditionally and will be missed by so many.
Preceded in death by her daughter, Mischelle Hall; husband, Dale Allen; parents, Hollis Carnell and Mary Ann Cobb; brothers, Clay Boyd Cobb and Jimmy Cobb; sisters, Sue Ealey and Pat Taylor.
She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Tanner (Jacob); grandchildren, Drew Hall (Faith Rollins), Brett Hall (Samantha), Peyton Hall; son-in-law Kevin Hall; grandchildren Claire Tanner and Colt Tanner; beloved dogs, Tucker Henley and Megs Rooney; brothers, Charles Cobb (Phyllis) and Ronnie Cobb (Patsy); sisters, Nell Bartlett (Perry), Janie Thompson (Randy) and Linda Nash (Gary); sister-in-law, Dean Cobb; many nieces and nephews; a host of other beloved family members.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 2pm Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. Richard Garza officiating. Entombment will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10am until 2pm at the funeral home.
