Joe Bridges Hastings age 88 of Madison, Tennessee passed away August 25th, 2026.

Joe is preceded in death by siblings, Winifred ‘Blackie’ Hastings; Billy James Hastings; and Charles Aaron Hastings; and grandchild, Joseph Ryan Combs, Jr.

Joe is survived by wife, Stella F. Hastings; children, Michael Joe Hastings (Kasey); and Mark Wade Hastings (Karen); grandchildren, Heidi Nichole Combs (Joseph); Sheree Nicole Hastings; Brandy Marie Vanderveen; great- grandchildren, Harmoni Jayde Combs; Kennedi Noel Combs; Lashiyah Maree Booker; Alexis Renee Michelle Booker; Nickolas Lynn Edwards; Zaden Leroy Vanderveen; Isabella Sophia Ricco; and Ashton Stevphen Ricco; and sister, Juanita Marie Williams.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 4th from 4PM until 8PM; and again on Saturday, September 5th from 12PM until the hour of Service at 1PM with Joseph Combs officiating.

Interment will follow at Carney Family Cemetery located at 1098 Little Marrowbone Rd. Ashland City, TN 37015.
