HAND, John Ray, age 76, of Nashville, passed away January 22, 2013. John was born July 21, 1936 in Ashland City, TN, the only son of the late John Ed and Maude Anderson Hand. He is also preceded in death by sisters, Virginia (Gene) Coles and Ruth Hand. Survived by sisters, Christine (Albert) Johnson, Beatrice (James) Turner, Shirley (Gerald) Smith and Glenda (James) Kuss; many nieces and nephews. A celebration of his life will be held 1:30 p.m. today at Eastland Chapel, with the interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service.
