Joseph Andrew Sorrells

SORRELLS, Joseph ( Joe) Andrew age 63 of Nashville, passed away August 10th, 2012. He is preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Jean Omohundro Sorrells. He is survived by his father H. E. Pete Sorrells: brother Thomas (Sherrie) Sorrells and sister Diane Sorrells ( Flip) Anderson: nieces and nephews: great nieces and nephews and great, great niece and nephew. Joe had many other extended family and friends. He was a graduate of Vanderbilt University. He also was a student of seminary at St. Meinrad. He was a Project Manager for MDHA in Nashville for 30 plus years. Joe was an active member of the musical ministry of the Catholic Church. He was music minister at St. Joseph in Madison for many years and at St. Henry in Bellevue. He was also frequently called on for procedural protocol in the Catholic religion. Funeral services will be held Tuesday August 14th 2012 at 10 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Madison, TN. Interment to follow at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be friends and family. Visitation is Monday, August 13th from 3pm to 9pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1150 Dickerson Rd, Goodlettsville TN. If you wish memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Alive Hospice St. Thomas , Nashville TN in honor of Joseph Sorrells.
