Born in Nashville, TN to the late Hobert and Lucy (Brown) Winfrey, Judy is also preceded in death by her loving husband Henry Nalls; sisters Marie Sosh and Brittany Oliver; brothers Bobby Winfrey, Paul Winfrey, Hobert F. Winfrey, Jr. and her grandson Cory Franklin Nalls. She is survived by her children Pennie Nalls, Sheila Anderson and Gregory Nalls (Heather); grandchildren Danielle Anderson (Gator), Dakota Anderson, Chandler Nalls, Victoria Nalls and Bailee Perryman (Caleb); great-grandchildren Mason Anderson and Lenyx Snyder; her sister Forrestine Snyder (David); and many other beloved extended family and dear friends.
A country-girl for life, Judy learned how to hunt and fish as a child and carried these skills with her throughout her life. She loved being outdoors, planting flowers and tending to her garden. Judy is remembered by her family and friends as being caring and loving to all. Her devoted kindness also extended to strangers - she would never turn her back on friend or foe. Always ready to gather her friends and family for meals, Judy was an excellent cook and hostess. She loved her children unconditionally and her life revolved around them. We will cherish our memories of her and she will forever be in our heart.
Visitation for Judy Nalls will be held Monday, December 11, 2023 from 4pm - 8pm and again on Tuesday, December 12 from 11am - 12pm, with a chapel service to begin at 12pm and burial to follow, all at Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 1150 South Dickerson Road, Goodlettsville, TN.
