Hey Paw Paw, We had some really good times together. Like this past year we went to Gettysburg that was the best time we ever had. We had so much fun just hanging out with u and walking aroung the museums. I wish you would have not passed so soon so we could of had more good times together. We will all miss you and we will alwaqys love you.

You and Roseie were great while I was married to Fae. Even after you stated just like Grandma Marian. You divorced my daughter but not me and Rosie. Karen and I will miss you very much.I will never forget all the great times we had.I willmake sure  Jordan treats your truck with respect and Honor. I Love You  very much. karl i need to tell you doc is so lost w/out you he doesn't say much but he is having a hard time w/your loss he really needs to hear your voice on the phone it rings but it takes a minute for him to realize it's not you his heart is broken so i am sending this to you and know you are aware of the loss he feels  we love you brother dottie and doc

Uncle Karl I want to thank you for loving me and my children when you didn't have to . You will always be my Big Yankee and I will be your Little Rebel. The world needs more men like you . We miss and love you . I know you are sitting with our Lord and are no longer in pain.

Thanks to everyone who has signed Paw Paws book. Thanks for the kind words you have for Him. He tried to be a big bad grisley bear but he was just a little loveable teddy bear. I miss him terribly as I am sure we all do.

I had also forgotten what you had given me. Pawpaw gave me his 2003 f-150 supercab. I am sooo grateful to have the privlage of having one of your trucks. I will do everything i can to keep it clean and running like new. Thank you again for giving me so much.

PawPaw,I'm soo glad and proud to have called you my grandfather. Every kid has those "embarassing" grandparents but you and grandma Rosie were far from that. Everytime you guys came down I got soo excited to the point were I couldn't concentrate in school. It was all i ever talked about. We got to do a lot of fun stuff like go to hersey park, or go to Washington D.C. I remember after D.C you said that you wanted to come back and see everything again and some. I will always remember the great and many fun times we had spent together. I just wish we could have had one more.

Paw Paw, I want to say thank you for being such a good paw paw to Mitchell and Jacob you were a great influence on their lives. Thank you for being so kind and loving and taking Jacob under your wing, you and he made memories that only you and him will have when he went trucking with you. I remember he would always be so excited when you told him he could go with you and you also would tell me "Now Nee don't blow my phone up I am not going to let anything happen to him." Mitchell remembers talking about army things and time when you were in the army things that you did.  Thank you for loving my wonderful sister (Rosie) you were always so sweet when you called her your southern belle.  Paw Paw you took us in to your home without hesitation. I remember when Mama passed away and you hugged me and told me everything would be ok as long as you and Rosie had a home we would always have somewhere to live. I will miss you always your were my older brother Rest in peace my sweet little yankee brother. I love you Nee Nee

Pawpaw I knew you for awhile thanks to grandmother. You treated myself and my kids like family. You were a hard bird to understand stand at times but I loved you. I enjoyed the times that you and I would have conversations hearing about when you were young and how you met grandmother and how much you loved her. You wanted people to think you were a bear, but you really were a kitten. I will miss you and yes I do and did love you like my dad. I know you are in a better place and you will be waiting on all of us that love you. And of the ones you love.

     You are and we're a good good man.  You loved all of the kids and grand kids blood or adopted. There is so much I could talk to you about hours and hours on in. We will all miss you. I am sitting here at the visitation for you. There are people here to see you maw maw loves you so much, she wanted me to sign in on this but I wasn't ready. But I am now now that I can see. Jeff and terry loves you so much. Penny and the kids are here we are all sitting here wAtching the slide show of you. Well I could go on forever but I guess what I really need to say is that I love you and maw maw y'all are my grand parents and for as long as I am alive. And If you need anything maw maw you know me and Katie are here

pawpaw what i could say to you right now wouldn't sum up what you mean to me. lets start with the basics man hood. I learned a lot from you when we out touring the united states (at least the southern half hahahaha) but you taught me valuable life lessons and are still usin them to this day. next you were the type of pawpaw i could see almost everyday and tell you i love you. i heard the story of when you and granny and momma and daddy were at opry land and you spent 250 dollars just to make you grand kids happy. next came the gift that i will cherish for the rest of my life that beautiful red diesel you got me. i will keep it cleaned up and taken good care of. but in the end i would give up everything right here right now just to see you one more time thanks for everything you did and taught me you will never be forgotten

I love my paw paw he was my trucking buddy.I miss him so much.I always told him that I would take him on the road with me.I remember when paw paw took me on the road i used to drink hot chocolate and eat pancakes.my paw paw loved his peter belt.i remember when he took me on the road for two weeks.i was so happy cause i got to spend time with my paw paw.I know my paw paw wants me to be happy cause he's happy.

Karl, I know you are resting with the Angels, now. You were my coffee drinking buddy.  Your trucker's coffee would grow hair on your chest.  I admit, I had to weaken it down a bit. I love you and miss you.  Rosie is like a sister to me and MiMi and Poppa will watch out for her. Rest in Peace my friend.
