Lee Roy Sharpe - age 85, passed away Monday, February 25, 2013. Born Friday, march 11, 1927 in Nashville, Tennessee he is preceded in death by his wife Thelma; parents, Clarence and Maggie Jackson Sharpe.
A decorated Navy veteran of WWII and the Korean War, he is survived by his sons, Lee (Sher) Sharpe, of Ashland City, TN; Paul (Rosemary) Sharpe, of Hendersonville, TN; Carl (Wanda) Sharpe, of Nashville, TN; sisters, Clara Mae Lawson, Peggy Marie Gordon; brother, Gene Sharpe; grandchildren, Darby, Damon, Michael, Ashley; great-grandchildren, Asher, Bree, Clair, Breana, Aiden, Christian and Elliott.
Funeral services will be 10:00 Thursday, February 28, 2013 in the chapel of Forest Lawn with Timothy Binion officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
