Preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee and Dona Holt Darby; daughter, Brenda Vaughn; brothers, Russell Darby, Arlie Darby; sisters, Thelma O’Saile, Lina Hicks, Bessie Bloodworth, Betty Earwood.
A graduate of White House High School in 1945, Lillian was a resident of Goodlettsville for 65 years. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Goodlettsville for more than 50 years.
Lillian is survived by husband of 67 years, Clifton Garrett; son, Larry C. (Sherry) Garrett; daughter, Glenda (Ron) Smith; grandchildren, Mike (Elizabeth) Vaughn, Angie (Todd) Lafrenz, Ashley (Jennifer) Smith, Julie (Tyler) Judge, Dr. Justin Garrett, Josh, Army Capt.Tyler (Aschley) Garrett stationed at Fort Knox, KY, Courtney, Ethan, Spencer and Blake Garrett; great-grandchildren, Abbie, Katie, Audrey Vaughn, Emilie & Maria Lafrenz, Maura & Andy Smith; son-in-law, Don Vaughn.
Visitation today from 3:00 until 8:00 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted by Brothers Tom Huls and Jerry Heflin on Friday, February 22, 2013 at 10:00 am, with grandsons serving as pallbearers.
