Michelle was a very outgoing lady that never met a stranger. She made friends everywhere she went, from childhood to her many stays at St. Thomas Hospital.
She grew up in White House, Tennessee and attended White House Elementary, Middle School and High School. She enjoyed attending her daughter’s softball games; and being "meme" to her two grandsons. You could not keep her down; from battles with cancer to losing a leg; her sight and then open heart surgery she just kept going. Not once did she ever say “why me”.
Michelle is survived by her husband, Brent Johnson; her daughter, Tamela Kirby and her husband Josh Salisbury; her two grandsons, Braylin Salisbury and Dylan Salisbury; her, mom, Louise Pearson and her husband Rick Pearson; her dad, Robert Fuqua and his partner Patrick Adams; her sister, Robbie Fuqua Cole; her grandmother, Lillian Virginia Cartwright Fuqua; her nephew, Bradley Cole.
A celebration of life will be conducted 10:00 Monday, June 30, 2014 in the chapel at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Rev. Alicia Burton officating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
