Linda Binkley

Linda Binkley, age 71, passed away on March 14, 2026. Those who knew Linda remember her as a steady and caring presence whose life was centered around family, quiet dedication, and the simple joys that brought her comfort.

Linda was born on October 3, 1954, and grew up in Springfield, Tennessee, where she graduated from Springfield High School. After attending Austin Peay State University, she began working for the Robertson County School System, where she served her community with reliability and care.

Beyond her work, Linda devoted much of her life to caring for others. She lovingly served as a caretaker for her parents in their later years, balancing that responsibility alongside her career with compassion and unwavering commitment. Her willingness to put family first was one of the many ways she showed love to those around her.

Linda found happiness in life’s quieter moments. She loved spending time with a good book and treasured the companionship of her beloved dog, Rex, who held a special place in her heart.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Ann Dorris.

Linda is survived by her devoted husband, Billy Binkley; sister, Cecilia Escue; brother, Gary (Ginger) Dorris; sister, Janice (Gary) Uithoven; sister, Audrey (Frank) Janco; and many cherished nieces and nephews.

Linda will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her and will remain forever in their hearts.
