Margaret Louise Helton - age 87 of Hendersonville, TN passed away Thursday, April 12, 2012. Born Monday November 3, 1924 in Columbia, TN to the late Leslie T. and Lela M. Irving Strong, she is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years John E. Helton, Sr.; and sister Betty Shepherd.
She is survived by her son John E. Helton, Jr.; grandsons, John E. Helton, III and his wife Jeannie; Trenton N. Helton; great-grandchildren Kayla, Ashlyn, Andrew and Jacob; sisters, Doris Woodhouse and Elizabeth (James) Butler; brother, Tommy (Shirley) Strong; and former daughter-in-law Barbara Helton.
A special thanks to the staff at Park Place Retirement Center. Mrs. Helton was a member of Eastland Baptist Church; she was a wonderful loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
A clebration of her life will be held 2:00 Saturday April 14, 2012 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Malcolm Patton officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Family and friends will gather to remember Mrs. Helton Saturday at 11:00 until the 2:00 service at Forest Lawn.
