Margaret Helena Vollan Scoggins, 84, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2017. Born Wednesday, March 9, 1932 and is preceded in death by parents, Richard and Ester Vollan; husband, Don Scoggins; daughter, Karla Scoggins; brothers, Edwin, George and Donald Vollan.
Mrs. Scoggins is survived by sons, Donald Ray (Sharon), Randy, Alan (Sylvia), and Robie (Cheryl); sister, Fay Frankamp; grandchildren, Amanda (Jeremy) Ross, Jessie Eby, Brandi Hutchinson, Railynn Scoggins, Christopher Scoggins, Margaret-Ann Scoggins; great-grandchildren, Savannah Johnson, Autumn and Georgia Kirkman Braydon Johnson, Damon Eby, Dakota Ross, River Ross.
She was a member of Connell Memorial United Methodist Church, Builders; and many of the years as Children’s Choir Director. Member of Senior Spirits Goodlettsville; former member of Shooting Stars Square Dance Club; and worked for Oman Construction and Vanderbilt University Radiology Dept.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 1, 2017 from 10:00 until 2:00 with A Celebration of Life at 2:00 in the chapel of Forest Lawn with Pastor Paul Gardener officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Meals on Wheels.
