Margaret J. Vinson - age 85 passed away Monday, December 31, 2012. She was born Tuesday, April 12, 1927 in Nashville, TN. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Edward and Lillie May Hall Jones; husband Paul E. Vinson, Sr., and her brother, J. C. Jones.

She is survived by her sons, Eddie (Jan) Vinson, and Cary (Darcy) Vinson; sister, Jeannie May Jones; 5 grandchildren, Brandy (Roy) Petty, Mark (Heather) Vinson, Alissa (Bobby) Beasley, Warren (Deborah) Vinson, Saul Vinson; 10 great-grandchildren, Aleah, Avery, Whitney, and Brandon Petty, Brooke Shouse, Mati Harris, Macy Beasley, Cash and Chloe Vinson; and 2 great-great-grandchildren, Ava and Luke Shouse..

Funeral services will be 2:00 Thursday, January 3, 2013 in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. Andrew Higgins officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

The family wishes to extend a special "Thank You" to the staff at NHC-Hendersonville for their kindness and care towards their mother.

Family and friends will gather to remember Mrs. Vinson at a visitation Thursday, January 3, 2013 from 11:00 until the 2:00 chapel service at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1150 South Dickerson Rd, Goodlettsville, TN.
