Marjorie Helen Grubbs

Marjorie Helen Grubbs, age 92, of Goodlettsville, Tennessee passed on to her eternal home Tuesday, April 4, 2023 surrounded by family. Marjorie was born Friday, December 12, 1930 in Athens, Alabama and is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Gracie Davis; son, Larry Hughes; daughter, Mildred Anne Frizzell, grandson, Greg Hughes; sister, Bobbie Furlow and beloved pet, Kooky.

Mrs. Grubbs enjoyed christian music, family, church and playing the piano at church. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, William Grubbs; son, Billy ( JoAnne) Hughes; daughter, Sherry Hughes; brother, Robert (Jan) Davis; granddaughters, Tanica (Zeb) Hughes-Harwell, Rhonda Kaye (Rascal) Moore; grandson, Randy (Rosbely) Hughes; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted 11:00 Saturday April 29, 2023 at Goodlettsville Pentecostal Church, 733 Old Dickerson Pike, Goodlettsville,TN with Bro. Dan Russell and Bro. Rodger Thaxton officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the building fund for the future school at Goodlettsville Pentecostal Church; plants are welcome.
