So sorry for your loss. I never met her that I know of, but she seems like a wonderful lady. Sending her family all the love, thoughts, prayers in the world! Take your time to grieve, and know you’re loved, and that she’ll be with you always. 

My favorite memory of my Nana. She showed up to Aunt Tonya’s house decked out like this and hooting and hollering just to hear the grandkids laugh. She was the perfect grandma. She never showed up empty handed. It could be a piece of bubblegum, a surprise pie, or orange soda and vanilla ice cream for a float. She loved her family. She adored her grandchildren and children. Her phone calls were the best. She knew how to make you feel proud of yourself, and I will deeply miss that. She taught me so many things I could never put into words. Thankful is a good word to use, I am thankful and blessed to have the best Grandma (she hated that word). She’d do anything to see the people she loved smile, and somehow, through all the grief, I know she’s brought a few smiles to our faces through pictures and memories. Until we meet again. 

We were very privileged to become part of Jane’s family and share our kids and grandkids.  We loved Jane very much!  Whenever we got together we would talk  and giggle about everyone and everything.  She was like a ray of sunshine to be around.  Our love to all the family.  We know Jane is in the arms of Jesus and having a glorious time with family and friends.  ❤️

If only you knew how much I miss you! There is a hole in my heart that will always be there, until I see you again. Thank you for loving me unconditionally, for always being there when I needed advice or a voice of reason. I will miss our daily phone calls, and silly sayings you would say like “Is this the party with whom I am speaking?” when I would answer the phone. Or “that’s it, now go blab it!” just before we hung up. You were such a huge part of my life and I can’t believe you have left us, but I know you are no longer suffering and you are with Jesus and your mama now and you are probably making everyone gathered around laugh! I love you so much! See you soon!

If you ever met Meme you know she was absolutely one of a kind. Everyone says that about people who have passed on, but truly… I don’t know anyone quite like her. She was an enigma. She could (and would) talk to anyone and everyone who would listen. She loved to entertain and had a bit of a propensity for drama and exaggeration (obviously none of that trickled down to me). Half of a Dr. Pepper made her act like she had just had 3 shots of tequila. She loved to dance and sing and tell stories and she could make anyone laugh. She had absolutely no filter which could be shocking at times but also hilarious. She loved to cook, but always complained about the things she made. She had a huge sweet tooth and she counted her Fritos before eating them. She put sour cream on her pancakes. She was stubborn as HELL, even til the end. She was about as country as you can get. She had a really, really difficult life and yet… she loved HARD. She had such a tender heart. She laughed easily, she cried easily, and she loved easily. She will be greatly missed, but her love will live on.

So many mixed feelings at the passing of Tonya Flint's mom.  I am truly happy for her as I know she loved Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior w/ all her heart.  But selfishly as I witness the pain and sadness in her kids and everyone that knew her (including me) I wish she was still w/ us.  Mama Jane had a very hard life.  Her family, (just like my Dad's family) were sharecroppers in Southern Mississippi.  She would pick cotton as a little girl until her fingers bled!  When I first met her over 30 years ago,  I couldn't be disrespectful and call her "Jane"... and her kids all called her "momma"... and I couldn't call her "momma" because she wasn't my mother in law, (yet)... So I came up w/ the name "Mama Jane" and for years now-anyone that knows her pretty much calls her "Mama Jane"... I think she liked it... and learned to love it.  Mama Jane loved music, loved to dance and loved enjoying all of creation most of which was her kids, grandkids and great grandkids.  I remember at Joe and Dara's wedding her and I did "the bump"  (70's reference!)  She was a hoot !  We are all so happy at the thought of her being in the Savior's presence... just like the thief on the cross-  I have no doubt this past Sunday Jesus Christ whispered in her ear... "THIS DAY, you will be w/ Me in paradise"  What a promise, what a Savior, what a woman.   We miss you and love you Mama Jane.

Aunt Jane and mama together were priceless. Sisters that loved each other without question and though they would not agree on this, were two peas in a pod.  Aunt Jane was funny, out going and was happiest if you were laughing with her.  We will love her always and miss her until Jesus return to raise her up with us to see Him in the clouds.  So looking forward to that moment.

Jane was a wonderful person.  I’ve known their family since I was a toddler.  She loved her kids so much, she is one of the most selfless persons I have ever met.  She always made sure her kids had a roof over their head and food to eat.  I will miss her.  Jane passed away but she graduated to heaven.  She will be missed by us all.
