Martha Helen Jones Kinkade

Martha Helen Jones Kinkade - age 85; passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2013. Born in Nashville, Tennessee Thursday, December 29, 1927; she is preceded in death by her parents, Murray and Geneva Hicks Jones.

A wife, home maker, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother she graded from North High School and was a member of Jackson Park Church of Christ; she volunteered in many church activities, the Christian Home, started the church library, was a member of the garden club. She enjoyed gardening, and growing roses. Mrs. Kinkade was a painter of landscapes using water color, oils and pastels using photographs from trips.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Wallace Kinkade; children, Rick (Nancy) Kinkade, Patty (Randy) Fought, Tom (Cecily) Kinkade; siblings, Ellen Frizzell, Cynthia Mooneyhan, Wilburn Jones; 5 grandchildren, Nick Kinkade, Beth Kinkade, Katie Fought, Sherri (Jeff) Hodge, Thomas (Amber) Kinkade; 1 great-granddaughter, Abigail Hodge.

Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 Saturday, February 16, 2013 in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Olive and Bro. Tim Frazzell officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Thomas Kinkade, Nick Kinkade, Jeff Hodge, Kenneth Wilson, Robert Durham, Buford Putman.

Family and friends will gather to remember Mrs. Kinkade at a visitation Friday, February 15, 2013 from 4:00 until 8:00 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1150 South Dickerson Rd. Goodlettsville, TN 37072
