Mary Elizabeth Denney, age 78, of Madison, Tennessee passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021. Mary was born Wednesday, March 24, 1943 in Madison, Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Eugene Denney; parents, James and Lela Adams Miles; brothers, Jerry Miles and Benny Miles.
Mrs. Denney, enjoyed walking on the Greenway; never meeting a stranger; loved to travel, bowl and camping. She was very oriented.
She is survived by her son, William (Vicky) Denney; daughter, Patricia (Jeff) Holley; sisters, Ruth Jackson and Ruby (Billy) Cobb; brothers, Jim (Barbara) Miles, Jessie (Martha) Miles, Tommy (Melodye) Miles; grandchildren, Chandler (Grace) Denney, Thomas Denney, Leanne Hutson; great-grandchildren, McKenzie Vaughn, Ty Hutson, Holley Hutson, Mason Denney, Haverly Denney, Carson Denney.
Family and friends will gather to remember Mrs. Denney at a visitation Friday, July 23, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Goodlettsville, Tennessee.
A a celebration of life will occur Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. John Murray officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Active pallbearers will be Tommy Miles, Chandler Denney, Thomas Denney, Ty Hutson, Fred Busch, Ernie Harper. Honorary will be Jim and Jessie Miles.
