Mary Katherine Denton Hazelwood - 93, passed away Tuesday, September 27th, 2011. She was born Thursday, July 18th, 1918 in Davidson County, TN; to the late Floyd T. and Lena Chambers Denton. She is also preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Charles Hazelwood.
Mrs. Hazelwood loved God, her family and the former Joywood Church of Christ where she worshipped for over 50 years. She was a member and officer of both the Little Creek Homemakers and Community Clubs.
She is survived by daughter Amelia (Tommy) Hatchett, granddaughter Lisa Hatchett Lemay, grandson Greg (Heather) Hatchett; great-grandchildren Brianna, Zachary, and Dylan Lemay; Ethan and Emily Hatchett.
Graveside services will be 10:00 Friday September 30th, 2011 in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with Harry Middleton officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Disaster Relief 410 Allied Dr. Nashville, TN 37211.
