Mattie Elizabeth Light, age 89, passsed away Saturday, April 11, 2015 in Burlington, North Carolina. She was born in Carthage, Tennessee Tuesday, June 16, 1925 and is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Crockett and Nola Mae Bruce Ballinger; her husband, Albert W. Light, Jr.; brother, Charlie Coyle Ballinger and wife Jyce Honeycutt Ballinger.
Mrs. Light is survived by her sister, Lela Mae Ballinger isley of Burlington, North Carlina; nephew, Michael Ray Isley; Patrick Neal Isley and his wife Patricia; great-nephew, Christopher Isley.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted Saturday, April 25, 2015 in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Wendell Poole celebrant. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens
