

He is preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Mary Jane (Liffick) Eldredge; parents, Cary Randall and Bessie (Griffin) Eldredge; brothers, Burnette, Olin; sisters, Geraldine, Irma, Kathleen and Vera.
Bud served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War conflict. He can be described as a man that never met a stranger and he believed in the good of everyone. He was a Christian and loved the Lord. He cherished the life that he was blessed with.
He is survived by his sons, Grady Eldredge, and wife, Tammy, Peyton Eldredge, and wife, Karla, Terry Eldredge; daughter, Sheri Featherston, and husband, Randall; grandchildren, Brittany Rose, Denton Eldredge, Christopher Eldredge, Jennie Scank, and Carlie Houser, Leah Barr and Kaleb Featherston; great-grandchildren, Abbey, Tirzah, Aaliyah, Desmond, Kambri, Kolby, Kash, Harper, Blake, and Bailey; special nieces, Elaine Becker, and Sandy Smithson.
A gathering of family and friends for Bud will be held Saturday, September 3, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 1150 South Dickerson Road, Goodlettsville, TN 37072. A gathering of family and friends will also occur Sunday, September 4, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A celebration of life service will occur Sunday, September 4, 2022 at 3:00 PM.
Flowers are appreciated, but memorial contributions can be made to the Nashville Rescue Mission to support the homeless in Bud’s honor.
