Mickey Sircy Brooks

Mickey Sircy Brooks, age 71, of Goodlettsville, Tennessee passed away on Monday, October 27th, 2025 peacefully at home. Mickey was born on Wednesday, December 16th, 1953 in Carthage, Tennessee. He is preceded in death by his parents, Claudine Brooks and E.W. Brooks. Mickey is survived by his wife of 51 years, Donna. His three children, Kendil, Kyle and Katelyn (Ryan) Escue and his four grandchildren, Lottie, Dylan, Sylvie and Murphie. He is also survived by his sister, Linda Hackett and many other family and friends.

Mickey worked for Metro Water for 40 years but his true passion in life was making people laugh. He loved life and never missed a chance at a good time. He loved cheering on his Vanderbilt Commodores and the New York Yankees. He loved his cars, especially his corvette. He loved good music, from the Beatles to Johnny Cash. He loved smoking his pipe, playing pranks on his friends and family, a day on the lake, and a good meat and three meal made by his favorite chef, his wife. He was a dedicated member at Long Hollow Church. He was a wonderful father and friend to many. Most importantly he loved his most recent role as Mic Mic to his four grandgirls.

Visitation with the family will be held Saturday, November 1, 2025 from 10 am until 12 pm at Long Hollow Church 3031 Long Hollow Pike, Hendersonville, TN 37075 with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 12 pm.
