BILLINGTON, Murrel E. Age 84 of Madison passed away June 4, 2013. He is preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Lena Billington; sisters, Louise Billington and Delores McEwen; nephews, Mark Spence and Jerry McEwen. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Delores Winters Billington; daughter, Cindy Billington; sister, Christine (Clarence) Spence; brother, Jack (Barbara) Billington; several nieces, nephews and friends. Murrel served in the U.S. Army with the 317th Engineers during the Korean War. He was employed with Ambrose Printing Company for 54 years. His favorite pass times was camping, boating, fishing, music, woodworking, bicycling and nature. A Celebration of his life will be held 2 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2013 at Forest Lawn Chapel with Brother Norman Slate officiating. Entombment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with family members serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be today 4-8 p.m. and Friday 2 hours prior to the service Friday all @ Forest Lawn.
