Preceded in death by parents, Goldman Augustus Butler, Sr. and Delilah Webb Butler; brother, Goldman Augustus Butler, Jr.; and husband of 54 years, Ray Brown.
Survived by daughters, Candace René Brown, Dana Esse and grandson, Ben (Antria) Esse; and son, Daryl Brown (John Lewis).
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 10 a.m., at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. No flowers please.
