He was born Monday, July 18, 1955 in Nashville, TN. His smile was a blessing to all who knew him. His caring gentle spirit was a gift he gave freely to anyone he met.
He worked as a cameraman for many years at Ch.5, Opryland Productions and The Nashville Network as well as engineering with CMT.
He is preceded in death by parents Ganda Ned and Gertrude Freeman. He is survived by his adoring wife Genie Lipscomb Freeman; daughters Brooke, McKenzie & Blair Bellar; seven grandchildren, Lila Belle Sinquefield, Sadie Syes, Gracie & Dylan Torr, Arianna, Kaylee and Cortland Ray; brother Steve (Kathie) Freeman.
The family respectfully request memorial in Damon’s honor be made to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital. A Life Celebration will be held 12:00 Friday, August 31, 2012 with a gathering of friends from 4:00 until 8:00 Thursday, August 30, 2012 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1150 So. Dickerson Rd.
