Opal Vaughn, age 99 passed away on October 19, 2015. She was a devoted member of the Goodlettsville Nazarene Church for over 50 years where she was a member of the Koinonia Sunday School Class. Mrs. Vaughn is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Vaughn; son, Larry Vaughn; grandson, Todd Vaughn. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Mary Vaughn; grandchildren, Dale (Donna) Vaughn, Scott (Laurie) Vaughn and Kim (Craig) Smith; great-grandchildren, Josh, Jeremy, Adam, Brad, Abby, Ashley, Sarah, Courtney and Bailey; great-great grandchildren, Ashton, Grayson, Aniston, Bryce, Sabastian, Channing and Cannon. Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday from 10-12 PM with a celebration of Life service to follow at 12 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
