He died peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Many say he was the kindest man they ever met. Wise, hard working, humble, generous, gentle and forbearing, never complaining unless his coffee was cold.
He loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren who brought him so much joy and purpose. He was a loving husband and father, loyal friend and brother. He was a rock to us all. He left the world much better for being with us and we will never really know all the people who he helped along the way.
He grew up in Madison County Tennessee and had an early career that took him to many cities and states before settling his family in Middle Tennessee. He loved fishing and boating and spent much of his later life on the Lake with his wife Bobbie and dear boating friends. He loved old country music, HAM and CB radios, collecting stuff, and fixing things. He lived a full life, not always an easy life, but he was always grateful for his many blessings.
He was preceded in death by his father, Olie Miller; his mother, Gladys Miller; and his siblings, Raymond Miller, Charles Miller, and Robert Miller.
He is survived by his sisters, Betty Miller and Linda Mitchel; his children, Elaine Kizer, Paul Miller, Jr. (Tiffany), Diane Mulloy (James), and Olie Miller (Cindy); his grandchildren, Misty Jalane Williams, Aaron Kizer, Zachary Miller, Daniele Miller, Natalie Mulloy, Sarah Mulloy, Connor Mulloy, Ben Tardiff, Christin Snyder, Hayden Miller, Nancy Miller, Maddie Miller, Brittany Eden, and Stephanie Jones; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
He will have a private family burial at Forest Lawn on May 19th followed by a Celebration of Life.
