Peggie was born on October 4, 1942 to the late Charles and Pearl (Conyer) Doremus. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her two sons, Robbie and Jamie Durham.
Peggie loved car rides with her husband, Tommy to see God’s creation, one of their favorite places to go together was the beach. She can be described as a creative person who loved working with crafts. This talent explains why she was so good at crocheting and sewing. She loved children, her dogs, her family, and above all, the Lord. She attended Campbell Road Church of Christ for many years, and more recently Luna Lane Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband of thirty-five years, Tommy Sprouse; daughters, Patti Durham (Kenny Mabrey), Terri Prince (Roy), and Shelia Trigleth (Josh); daughters in-law Susan Durham and Jennifer Durham; grandchildren, Rachel, Joshua, Bethany, Taylor, McKenzie, Abigail, Dalton, Dillon, Mason, Aaron, Haley, Riley, Lucas, Preston, Dillon, and Bryce; great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Wyatt, Joshua, Clayton, Zander, Ashton, and Cora.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to Brenda Lea, Trina Frierson, and all of the staff of Adoration Hospice for the excellent care that was provided to Peggie.
