ROBERTS, Ray Harlin - Age 85 of Springfield, passed away on September 28, 2010. Preceded in death by one brother and three sisters. Survived by wife of 64 years, Geneva Elizabeth Roberts; sons, Mark (Shirley) Roberts and Tony (Margie) Roberts; grandchildren, Kelly (Reese) Tyree-Grubbs, Kim (Kevin) Eubanks, Vera (Andrew) Gibbs, Alan Roberts and (fiance) Sarah Hilliard; 8 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Alice (Benton) Medlin and Jean (Kenneth) Slate. Ray was a long-time elder for 30 years at Joywood/501 Trinity Lane Church of Christ. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral Services will be held at Forest Lawn Chapel at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 1, 2010 with Norman Slate and Gordon Lyons officiating. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Family and friends to serve as Pallbearers. Visitation will be today from 2-8 p.m. and again, one hour prior to the service.
