Red Denson, age 78, of Greenbrier, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 in the comfort of his home with his wife and 2 daughters by his side. Red was born May 26, 1943 in Nashville, Tennessee.
Red is preceded in death by his parents, Ermon and Nettie Mae Denson; siblings, Vivian Ford, Bobby Denson, Peggy Bryant, Terry Denson, Marie Bailey, Buddy Denson, and Virgil Lane.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Denson of Greenbrier, TN; daughters, Rachel Bryant (Josh) of Eagleville, TN and Kristy Denson of Murfreesboro, TN; 4 grandchildren, Alex, Jack, Zachary and Greyson Bryant; sister, Frankie Nichols.
A visitation will be held Friday, January 14, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Goodlettsville, Tennessee and on Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will occur Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Chad Phelan officiating at the funeral home.
Red will be laid to rest in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Goodlettsville, Tennessee.
Serving as pallbearers are Danny Hartsfield, Nathan Hartsfield, Kenny Bryant, Timmy Denson, Richard Blackwell and Colen Locke Jr..
