Robbie P Hutton (Nay Nay) won her battle against cancer and decided it was time to go be with God and beloved husband, Donnie, surrounded by love ones on August 8, 2025. She had a fighting spirit and fought until the very end with every breath. Survived by her daughter, Brandie, son in law, Will, and her precious grand babies, Doodlebug (Adeline), Dook (little man) and his wife Haylee. To everyone she knew and met she was their Nay Nay. She had two beautiful nieces Christie (Jeremy) Townes, and Lisa Pruitt, that she loved and raised as if they were her own daughters, who also gave her many great nieces and nephews. She had such a love and admiration for her Aunt Gussy, and was thankful for the gift of her many cousins.
She grew up on a little farm in Goodlettsville, TN. Where she acquired her love for cooking, canning and sewing from her mother, and her knowledge of plumbing and hunting from her father. As a teenager she was a local champion barrel racer with her beloved horse Big Boy. At the age of 15 she began working at Crispy Chicken in Nashville, TN where she met the love of her life, Donnie, that would later become her husband. As life went on Robbie worked as an IT supervisor for over 25 years at Service Merchandise Warehouse in Nashville, TN up until their closure. Robbie loved being on the lake, camping, canoeing, riding four wheelers, being outside tanning by the pool, taking girl trips to the beach, taking care of her yard and fishing every chance she got. She was a certified scuba diver and traveled all over the south to dive many places with Donnie and friends. She has always been known to have a soft spot in her heart for animals and would take in every one she thought she could give a good home. She was a collector of all things, especially anything Tweety Bird. If there was ever anything you needed, chances were she probably had at least one of whatever it was, located somewhere, she just had to find it. She always had a bungee cord or a clamp on her because she could make anything work with those two objects. There wasn’t nothing she couldn’t do by her tiny little self, she was so talented and determined. She always said, “dynamite comes in small packages”and with her it did. She is proceeded in death by her loving husband of 39 years, Donnie Hutton. Her parents, Ernest and Gearl Pruitt, her sister Frankie Pruitt, and both of her brothers Tim Pruitt and Wayne Pruitt. Pallbearers will be a host of family and friends.
Visitation with family and friends will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Friday August 15, 2025 from 12-2 pm with services following at 2 pm. Interment to follow in the Garden of Love.
