Robert Franklin Allen

Mr Allen was preceded in death by his wife, Janie C Allen; daughter, Stephanie; parents, Johnnie and Zemmer Allen; and brother, Roy Allen.

Mr Allen (aka Daddy and Pap) is survived by son, Michael (Michele) Allen; daughter, Michelle (Dennis) Coggin and daughter, Carol Ann (Eddie) Jackson; grandchildren, Matthew, Corey, Erica, Zachary and Brandon; wife, June; brothers, Johnnie (Linda) Allen, Willard (Margie) Allen; sister, Barbara (Jerry) Baggett and sister in law, Ivarene Allen. Also numerous beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, long time neighbors and friends, and his loyal pet companion, Rascal.

Mr Allen was a graduate of DuPont High School and worked for DuPont in Old Hickory for 25 years and was a lifetime member of the Old Hickory Bunch.

Visitation for Mr Allen will be Friday May 15 2015 from 5-8 pmat Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens on Dickerson Road and again on Saturday from 12-2. Funeral services begin at 2 pm.

Honorary Pallbearers are Dennis Coggin, Eddie Jackson, Matthew Allen, Corey Allen, Zachary Coggin and Brandon Jackson.

Mr Allen's family would like to thank Alive Hospice at the Skyline Madison Campus especially Gina Wheeley and Christine Blackwood for the wonderful care they took of Mr Allen and family. They will remember their kindness and compassion for years to come as the sadness of the death of their loved one begins to fade.

Mr Allen made many sacrifices in his life for the love of his children. He was their mom and dad for many years and they were so well taken care of they are forever grateful and will continue to live with love for him in their hearts forever.
