Mr. Guinn was a verteran of the US Navy; a construction worker before going to work at Ford Glass in Nashville and on to retire from the Ford Plant in Louisville, Kentucky. He loved gardening, mainly vegetables and sunflowers. Should he have grown too much, he was willing to share. He was also very particular about his yard being taken care of.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Dorothy Aullene Perdue Guinn; his children, Tommie (Pearl) Guinn, Barbara (Michael) Moore, Lonnie (Jeanne) Guinn, Marlene (Don) Olson, and Darlene (Bruce) Sewell; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was conducted 12:00 Monday, October 6, 2014 in the chapel of Forest Lawn.
The family request memorials be made to Hospice of Nelson County.
He was laid to rest in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens 1150 S. Dickerson Rd. Goodlettsville, TN. 37072 615-859-5279
