Roger Burrus Rochelle

Roger Burrus Rochelle, age 94, of Madison, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024. Roger was born Sunday, August 25, 1929 in Nashville, Tennessee. Mr. Rochelle is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Arthur and Cora Climer Rochelle; wife, Bonnie Jean Sisco Rochelle; daughter, Deborah Lynne Rochelle; brothers, George F. Rochelle, Robert D. Rochelle, Harvill Rochelle, Robert A. Rochelle, Jr., William Earl Rochelle.

A veteran of the US Marine Corps, a retired truck driver for Gensco after 40 years, an avid metal detector who has received awards for his Civil War finds and an amature photographer; he is survived by his sons, Roger B. Rochelle, Jr., Michael W. (Vickie) Rochelle; granddaughters, Stephanie (Tim) Hall, Heather Rochelle, Erica Crook Bonds, Amy (Brian) Fentress, Tiffany (Charlie) Cain; great-grandchildren, David Hall, Cole Keeler, Carman Perkins, Madison Aja`-Rochelle Bonds, Eli Fentress and Ella Frentress.

A visitation for Roger will be held Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Goodlettsville, Tennessee.

A funeral service will be conducted Friday, January 12, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Rev. Edward Meyers officiating.

Burial with military honors will follow in the Garden of the Last Supper at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
