Ronnie attended Goodlettsville High School, graduating with the Class of 1965, before continuing his education at St. Thomas Aquinas College.
For 32 years, Ronnie proudly served with the Metro Nashville Police Department, retiring with the rank of sergeant. His career was defined by a steadfast commitment to protecting and serving others, and he carried that same sense of responsibility into every aspect of his life. He was also a proud member of the Fraternal Order of Police.
When he wasn't working, Ronnie enjoyed spending time on the golf course and watching classic westerns. Those who knew him will remember the steady presence he brought to those around him and the love he had for his family.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Roy and Ruby Parrish, and his uncle, Robert E. Parrish.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 49 years, Judith Darlene Parrish; his children, Brittany (Justin) Griggs, Mickey (Kelly) Parrish, David Parrish, Michael (Shannon) Campbell, and Yvette (Mark) Cowden; his grandchildren, Kinsley, Karley, Caden, Victoria, Tiffany, Mikey, Mikeia, Michael, Michelle, Devion, and Skye Cowden; his great-grandchildren, Olivia, Beau, Lily, Laney, Kharmyn, Gabby, Devion Jr., and Malakai; his sisters, Margie Hargrove, Sue Renn, and Teresa Parrish; and his brother, Bill Parrish.
Ronnie's years of service, his devotion to his loved ones, and the example he set through a life of honor and commitment will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
