He was a gift from above. The most selfless man ever known. Rufus would have literally given you the shirt off his back or the last dollar in his wallet. It is so sad knowing we won’t get to hear “go in there and get you a coke-a-cola, doll”, or “give me some sugar” or “gee-whiz” and all the other funny things he always said.
He loved our nanny more than anything and he always took care of her. They were married 57 years and had never been apart! We miss him so much already. Rufus never met a stranger and he always gave everyone a fair chance.
He loved Jesus and read his Bible every day. Rufus never met his dad because his dad died accidentally two months before he was born. He always said when he died he would then get to met his dad.
Our Rufus is now pain free and he is walking the Streets of Gold reunited with all his loved ones that were waiting for him in Heaven. Rest easy "Ru-Fi", “ Pretty Boy”!
