Shirley Miller

She attended Bethlehem Elementary School in Whiteville, and had been a devout member of Bartlet Chapel in Whiteville since childhood. Shirley went on to graduate from Central High School in Obion, Tennessee. After she graduated from high school, Shirley got a job with Werthan Packaging, devoting nearly 40 years of her life to her career.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband James Miller; her father John Bufford and her mother Ula Mae Pirtle-Bufford; her brother William Scott; her sister Sallie Williams and her brother Jessie (Vera) Bufford; her grandson Montrell Holt.

Shirley is survived by her daughters Cutina Ivey and and Donsara Smith; her son Timmy (Shericka) Bufford; her sister Lucy Allen, her brother Larry (Charlotte) Bufford, her sister Emmer Bufford, her brother Ruben Bufford and her sister Corinthian (Bobby) Hayes; her grandchildren Darrio Bufford, Reiko (Brandy) Bufford, LaTia Holt, Michael Scott and Timothy Scott.

Mrs. Miller also leaves seven great-grandchildren and a host of friends and church family at New Peoples' Deliverance Temple (residing pastor Apostle Earnestine Williams) to cherish her memory.
