Steph went to Heaven on February 10th where she was met by her baby boy Caden. She was a God loving and caring person. Everyone who met her knew how much she loved her family, mom and dad Donna and Jimmy, husband Ron and children Christian, Caden, Caylin, Cadynce, and Cason. Funny, caring, out spoken, and a Great Nurse is what most will remember her by. Most met her from a sports event, church function or a special labor and delivery, as she was in the delivery of many friends and family’s. If Steph was here she would want us to remember her big smile, caring heart, and funny stories. She would also tell us all “she loved us, see us soon, and when are we going to the Beach!!” She will be missed dearly.

The family would ask in lieu of flowers to please make donations for the education and care of Caylin, Cadynce and Cason.

Donations can be handled at any Renasant Bank on behalf of Caylin, Cadynce, and Cason Martinez.

I met Steph when I was 17 when I started dating Brad. I always looked up to her… she was beautiful, strong, and she had the gift from God of being a natural caretaker. Being in the delivery room when her babies were born was such an honor for me. I cannot open a photo album or watch an old video that does not have her involved in some way, with our kids together at parties or vacations, or holidays at her house when they were little. Things were not always easy and times were not always good. But one thing was clear – she loved and was very protective of her family. The last couple of years our families began to spend more time together, and I will be forever grateful for those extra memories of her.

To my little girl, Stephania,, We have had a lot of good times and a lot of not so good times but I have loved you through it all. I never thought you would leave us before we left you. That is the hardest thing a parent can do is to lose their child or grandchild . Maybe God needed you but your mother and I needed you also. He knows the future but it is going to be hard without you in it. I think back to when you were little and how you loved to run, to climb on any ladder, even climbing on top of the house. You loved playing softball, and cheering . If. we could only turn back time. Always my little girl. Love Daddy

I knew Stephania at work. She was day shift nurse. Always smiling and moving her body swiftly! Come in early many times to do work on computer in office for the unit. Jimmie Lee & I setting in the lounge. She would bounce with her creamer for the hot fresh coffee to get started. 5am or earlier, we sat there begging that 7 am would come soon!!! Jimmie knew her better than I. Said she was a great nurse. More time pass and watching, I agreed with Jimmie as I had met her many years ago. Many years way back, My husband and I went to her house to look at puppy she had for taking. Nice house and family! We enjoyed our visit . When our dog Oscar 's breeder bought Oscar's niece to us, we thought the two Westie's would be good together. That didn't work out. Both wanted to boss. Sugar love Ed but was tacky!!! Stephania come and heart broken, Ed let her take Sugar Babe. Sugar loved her young son and her girls. Ron bless his heart was a little skeptical. But, Sugar won him to she said. They all gave this little dog still with them a life of a queen! Even Charlie, the old dog already there let Sugar be the boss!!! Sugar loves to ride. Stephania would come to see me calling me grandma & Ed grandpa. The dogs played and chase. But Sugar had enough after a time of fun wanting to go back to her forever home. She loved those children!!! And more. Coffee, dogs, scones or steak biscuits, I will miss so much with Stephania. Our door will always be open to her family. I can't make it to the funeral today, but I am there. Stephania was to young to leave here so soon. She sure made her mark on all of us. I'll go to my grave loving her to. She was loved! Loved by someone and loved by many ones!!! R.I. P. little darling, till we meet again.

I remember so vividly Steph’s laugh and her zeal for everything! She was a fun person to be around and I always loved working when she was going to be working. She was a great nurse! I miss L&D when we were all a close group and even traveled places together. Stephanie was a loved member of our work family! My heart hurts for her loss.

Out of the seven children between our two close families, Steph was our only girl. I was surely excited. I had already had two boys. Steph had already had an older brother. She just might have to be spoiled just a little. And then on to have three more boys between us. She was the princess. The smiling little face that I loved to push around in a stroller at Opryland. She was the little girl I never got to have. God had a purpose for her. All those beautiful babies she brought into this world. When He decided her work was done, He let her go to Heaven to be with Caden and her grandparents. She will be there waiting when He is done with us all. Two of my sons are already there waiting to say hi. No more troubles No more pain. Only wonderful things throughout eternity.

Most of my memories of you, Steph, are as a child. I remember you were your Mom's little "Twink." I remember staying with you and Mark on a few occasions when Donna and Jimmy had a chance to go somewhere. Once you came to stay at my apartment... you stood there, looking and looking... then you asked me, "Where's your Daddy?" At first I thought you meant my father, then realized you meant "husband." I thought that was sort of sweet, you thought everyone had a "Daddy." I remember how you grew from an adorable little girl into a beautiful young woman. I remember the last time I ever saw you, at the hospital just before Caden passed. And now you are with him in some wonderful place where we've never been. Strange how life works. But we will see you again some sweet day. Until then, I know that you, dear Steph, are resting in the arms of Jesus this very minute.

I met Stephania at my grandson’s baseball games. She was so kind, funny, and caring. I am so sad to hear of her passing. May God Bless her and her family.

This is one of many memories of you Step. My kids were either at your house of my house. This day you were at my house. You and the other kids, decided to try a pyramid. You are on the top. So many wonderful memories of you and my children, Stacey, Shane, and Scott. I so enjoyed you coming over and playing with the others. You have gone on to be with your baby, but we will always have these memories to cherish. You were a great friend, and your mom is my best friend. I will be there for your mom. as she misses you so much already. We know you are in the arms of our wonderful Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. See you again one day sweet girl.

Born at Christmas, I called you Twinkles
You were my little twinkling star
So much time wasted, So many tears
A promise of the future, A promise that you would never leave me again, A promise you cannot keep
You were to be by my side as I took my last breath and entered
into heaven, telling Caden you would join us someday
Love is eternal even though sometimes it doesn't appear so
My heart breaks as I look to the sky for your twinkling star, My love is forever until I see you again
