Thomas Robert "Mac" McCormack

Nashville, TN

Age 82, passed away August 20, 2014.

Preceded in death by parents, Gallie and Mary Ruth McCormack; grandsons, Taylor Scott and Brent Tyler Williams.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Jo Ann McCormack; daughters, Kim (Stan) Williams and Pam (Jeff) Carris; siblings, G.E. (June) McCormack, Nancy Brown, Joyce (David) Pruett and Judy Carter; grandchildren, Brock, Clay and Cole Williams, Mackenzie and Mason Carris.

Mac was the worlds best husband, father, Paw Paw and friend. He was a life time member of Hillhurst Baptist Church, now Faith Baptist. He retired from the United States Air Force after 22 years of service. Then he retired from the United States Postal Service. He was a 32nd Degree Master Mason at Jere Baxter Lodge #254. A member of TN Traveling Senior Golf Association and Sycamore Senior Golfers.

Memorial contributions may be made to Sarah Cannon Cancer Research Institute.

A Celebration of his life will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Forest Lawn Chapel. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, with military honors. Visitation will be today, 2-8 p.m. and Saturday, 11 a.m. until the service at 2 p.m.
