Thomas Mellett Jr., age 50, of Goodlettsville, TN passed away Friday February 24th, 2023. Tommy was born December 18th, 1972 in Nashville, Tennessee. He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Mellett Sr. and mother, Clyda Davenport Mellett.
Tommy ran and operated The Mellett Company, a family owned business, since 2001. He enjoyed many outdoor activities and making everyone he knew laugh. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
He is survived by his wife Jamie and her son Jackson; his children Taylor (Todd) Tayes, Carleigh (Fiance Kenneth Dupra); grandchildren Thomas Tayes, Angelo Dupra; niece Savannah (Steven) Thompson; and his sister LeAnn (Shawn) Taylor. Also left to cherish his memory are Dusty Maynard, Donna Delgado, Cydonna Frost, Tammy Medrano, Samantha Keith and many, many other beloved family and friends.
A Celebration of Life for Thomas will be held on Saturday, April 1st from 1:00pm - 6:00pm in the event room at Holiday Inn Express and Suites, 251 Northcreek Blvd., Goodlettsville, TN 37072.
