Born, January 26, 1923 to the late Vessie Burton and Marcus Henry Bell in Frazer, KY. Also preceded in death by sisters, Kay Gregory, Fern Matlock, Eva Jean Shearer and Fayrene Bell; brother, Silas Newton Bell.
Survived by daughters, Ollie Ann (Tommy) Hall and Vessie Darlene Bell; son, Marcus Newton (Lana) Bell; step-daughters, Georgia Katherine Stafford and Mary Estelle Mooney; grandchildren, Christopher Loflin, Jessica Hall, Jonathan Bell and Janie Bell; step-grandchildren, Eddie Angell, Melissa Morgan, David Brewer and Donnie Brewer.
Grandpa was a Baptist by Faith. He retired as an over-the-road trucker.
A Celebration of his life will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 26, at Eastland Chapel, with Pastor Jason Wilaford officiating. Interment will be private. Visitation will be Saturday, 4:00-8:00 p.m. and Sunday, one hour prior to the service.
