NEWELL, Virginia Brooks, age 74 passed away at her home in Nashville, TN on August 11, 2011. She is survived by husband, Willard D. Newell; sister, Erma Dean Lewis; sons, Steven Lee (Cathy) Newell and Jeffrey Lane (Regina) Newell; three grandchildren, Nathan Newell, Amanda Newell, Corey Newell and five great-grandchilden along with nieces and nephews. The family deeply appreciates the loving care and support given by Dr. Johanna Bendell of the Sara Cannon Cancer Center, Dr. Paul Flesser of Williamson County Medical Center, staff at the Skyline Medical Center and Odyssey Hospice. Funeral service will be on Monday, August 15 at 12:00 Noon, with visitation Sunday from 1:00 – 5:00, Monday one hour prior to service at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
