Walter Ernest Pepper Sr. age 81 passed away January 4, 2021. Walter retired from the US Army after 23 years. He was a member of Hendersonville Church of Christ, a member of the Hendersonville Masonic Lodge where he served as Secretary for over 15 years. He was the Past Master of Hendersonville Lodge 359, a Past Patron of Order of Eastern Star Chapter 477; a 32`Shiner and a member of Provost Guard.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Pepper of 60 years; sons, Walter E. Pepper Jr. of Springfield, TN and David Pepper (Courtney) of Hendersonville, TN; daughter, Robin McNeal (Tony) of Mt. Juliet, TN; 5 grandchildren, Bryan Pepper, Adam Phillips, Megan Veal, Zachary Phillips and Annabelle Pepper; 3 great-grandchildren, Abigail Veal, Madison Veal and Tristan Phillips.
