William Michael "Butch" Nichter, age 74, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2018. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee Tuesday, May 23, 1944 to William and Louise Dunn Nichter; infant children, Tina and Michael Nichter.
A drywall finisher, he enjoyed race cars, farm tractors, trees and especially his motorcycles; he is survived by his wife of 38 years, Margaret "Margy" Nichter; daughter, Cindy (Scott) Hogan; sister, Norma Gilliland; grandchildren, Amber (Joseph) Coble, Michael (Amanda) Hogan, Michael (Ashley) Shannon, Scotty (Sarah) Hogan, Samantha Hogan; great-grandchildren, Briana Ramirez, Kiley Ramirez, Brooke Coble, Bryson Ramirez, Kaden Shannon, MJ Hogan, Michael Meador, Madalynn Hogan, Kooper Shannon, Mia Hogan.
A celebration of life will be conducted Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 10:00 in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
