William “Pete” Parker, 78, passed away Monday, March 17, 2014. He was born Sunday, January 12, 1936 in Cottontown, Tennessee to the late Frank Lee and Vera Leola Payne Parker. Pete is also preceded in death by his son; Billy Parker.
A veteren of the US Marine Corp, Pete worked in the steel industries for over 25 years with his last position at Cargill Steel.
Pete is survived by his wife of 48 years, Betty Bentle; daughter, Kimberly Rottero; five grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 Saturday, March 22, 2014 in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with burial following in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
