Willie D Edens Jr.

Willie D Edens Jr., age 75, of Nashville, passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2023. Willie was born Sunday, August 29, 1948 in Nashville, Tennessee. He is preceded in death by his parents, Willie D and Lula Simpson Edens; brother, Johnny Edens.

Willie was a graduate of Hume-Fogg class of 1966; a Veteran of the US Army serving in Viet Nam; a recipient of the Purple Heart; member of the VFW, American Legion, Disabled Veterans and a Master Plumber. He was an avid collector of antique scales (some going back years), a member of the International Society of Antique Scale Collectors: ISASC., collector of Lionel Trains and did all this single handed.

Willie is survived by his sisters, Janice (Louie) Woods, Doris Osborne, Pamela (Michael) Barrow; brother, Randy (Heather) Edens along with several nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Willie will be held Thursday, November 9, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1150 South Dickerson Road, Goodlettsville, TN 37072.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, November 10, 2023 at 11:00 AM with Dr. Hubert Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Garden of Meditation.
