Mrs. Ellis is survived by her husband of 55 years, John; son, Mark (Liza) Wakefield; sisters, Lavona Dalton and Sue Ellen McCormick; grandchildren, Jamie Wakefield, Joni Wakefield, Angela Adams, Jasmine Wakefield; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Worrell, Tye O’Neil, Jordan O’Neil, Hunter Adams.
A celebration of life will be 2:00 Friday, April 18, 2014 in the chapel of Forest Lawn with her son, Rev. Mark Wakefield, officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
