Anita May Crawford, a huge Arizona Diamondbacks fan, fell asleep in the arms of Jesus on November 9, 2025. She was born on October 11, 1944 in Michigan to Virginia and Norman Crawford. She graduated from Cass City High School.
Along with her love of baseball, she was famous for her homemade caramel corn that she had given to hundreds of people over the years. Baking breads and chocolate chip cookies were the other specialty treats for her family and friends. With her faith in Jesus, Anita served others with love and care.
Anita is preceded in death by her daughter Lana, her parents, her brother David and her sisters Lora and Manette.
She is survived by her daughter Lisa (Bill) Stipp, son John (Kristina nee Farmer), four grandchildren – Erin Stipp, Greg Stipp (Emily Farrell), Ryan Mayros and Blake Mayros, sisters Sharla Crow and Sharon (Al) Maurer and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 10:30 AM at Life in Christ Lutheran Church, 14802 N. 75th Ave. in Peoria, AZ.
