Ms. Harris received many awards of excellence during her 27 years teaching elementary school on Okinawa. She retired from teaching to Sun City before living in Goodyear. She volunteered for 25 years at the Sun City library.
She is survived by her brother Bruce G. Harris (Marilyn) and her sister in law Delores Harris who was married to Beata’s brother Ward Harris, who preceded her in death. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
