Cooper Yale Courtney, of Litchfield Park, Arizona, joined his Heavenly Father Wednesday, October 5, 2011 to continue his eternal mission.
Born in Phoenix, Arizona on May 2, 1995, to Shaun-Marie Davis and Leland Courtney, Cooper was a unconditional loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and genuine friend. His passions were cooking, playing football and time enjoyed with family and friends.
Cooper was known for his contagious laughter, his compassionate concern and comforting qualities for every person he knew and anyone he met. He was set on ensuring he was dressed “Fly” and always wanted to make sure he “smelled good”.
Cooper is survived by his mother, Shaun-Marie Davis of Litchfield Park, Arizona, his father Leland Courtney of Globe, Arizona; brother Tatum, sisters Sydnie, MaKenna and Madilyn; grandparents Pennie Lee, Keith Stover, Arlene and Jack Brunson, Richard Courtney; Great-Grandmothers Marcelle Houston, Dottie Brock and numerous Uncles, Aunts and Cousins.

Those who wish to attend the funeral service are asked to gather at 10:00 am on October 12, 2011 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 425 S. Estrella Parkway, Goodyear, Arizona 85338. The service will begin at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cooper Courtney Memorial Fund at Wells Fargo Bank.
