Dale Bernard Hafner

Dale Bernard Hafner of Goodyear, Arizona died on August 19, 2024 in Goodyear, Arizona. He was born on January 14, 1941 in Belle Fourche, South Dakota to Woodrow W. Hafner and Mildred Ann Winnette. Dale relocated to Phoenix with his family as a teenager and attended Phoenix Union High School. He was married to Ruth Ann (Murphy) Hafner on February 11, 1961. He and Ruth had been married for 63 years. Dale began his working career as a Draftsman for General Electric Company in Phoenix and worked for several years as an Electrical Designer. In the early 1990's he relocated to Prescott, Arizona and obtained a General Contractors License and formed Hafner Construction Co. Upon retirement, he returned to the Valley (Goodyear, AZ). His hobbies included gardening and racing his Porsche with several car clubs.

He is survived by his wife Ruth, sons Steven and Michael and nieces Debbie Murphy and Denise Anderson.

Burial will be at Hope Cemetery in Newell, South Dakota on Friday, August 30, 2024 at 2:00PM. A memorial service and gathering will be planned at a later date.
